Into the land of -omics

I am not a computer programmer, so I do not write beautiful code. But, if you’re looking for code used in one of my papers, you’re likely to find it on my GitHub page.

If you’re interested in the methods used in some of my previous work, I can send you to some other publications. In the Shank Lab, for example, we use a method called RAD-seq ("restriction enzyme associated DNA sequencing"), introduced and developed by Miller et al. (2007) and Baird et al. (2008).


As part of my genomics training, I attended the 2013 AGA Non-Model Genomics Workshop in Ithaca, New York, and the 2014 Workshop on Genomics in Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic.
